These sterling silver Thistle drop earrings feature a stylised thistle flower design, held between two leaves, and complemented with a hanging 4mm amethyst bead. Each earring has an overall drop length of approximately 55mm.
The thistle is Scotland’s national flower, famous for its purple blooms and its sharp, prickly leaves, and has been an important symbol of Scottish heraldry for over 500 years. This collection is cast and hand-finished in Sheila Fleet's Orkney workshop, and beautifully captures the detail of the thistle in sterling silver.
